The qualification delivered in the course is a recognised Level 2 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work and is applicable wherever you are, not just at the club and is a valuable life skill; it will include rugby specific injuries and full training on the use of the club’s defibrillator.
In keeping with RFU guidance, Wymondham RFC has a policy that each age group has sufficient First Aid trained people to cover the players wherever they are, at home or away so each age group needs to review their trained persons please (Minimum 2 per age group). If you need a reminder as to who is your age group First Aider’s please contact me.
Please note that anyone agreeing to be a first aid person at the club must also agree to undertake an RFU DBS check.
Places are limited so to book your place please confirm to me at firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible.
The course is on Sunday 30th September at 9am to approx 4.30pm in The Red Lion Room, Tuttles Lane.
The club will cover the course fee for age group coaches and administrators.
Any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.
